A lovely, hand-carved, elongated tray featuring buttercups from my summer bloom pattern.
Summer blooms is a pattern I created to show some of the early-season flowers I used to pick with my mom. They take on a different life in every piece and my hope is that they reflect the whimsy and joy and childhood nostalgia we could all use a little more of. Especially when missing our moms.
Each tray is painted in solid black. Once the paint has set, I carve each line before carving away the background for a deeply textured piece. Each tray takes around an hour to carve.
Note! All of our items are completely handmade. Each item shows off the human touches! Carved pieces are all carved, free-hand, so no two designs are ever the same. Items may have slight variances in dimensions and appearance because of this beautiful, handmade impact.
